Joining our Dojo Community

At Ueda Dojo, children and adults alike enjoy working hard together every week toward common goals in “lifetime karate.”

Please feel free to visit us for a free trial lesson or just to observe and experience the dojo environment:

There are no restrictions on gender, age, or nationality!

For non-native Japanese speakers, we generally have a number of native English-speaking students at most of our classes, so no need to worry about language barriers!

We welcome beginners and students who have previously practiced at other schools alike!

Please bring your own towel and water/tea/sports drink, and wear comfortable clothes.

Fees

Initial one-time membership fee

10,000 yen (per family, regardless of number of individuals joining)

Annual membership fee

10,000 yen (amount per family)

Monthly fee

10,000 yen

Aside from regular training, additional special training sessions and optional events are held. Participation in such events are subject to extra fees.

Visitors
(registered as members of other dojos)

1,000 yen per class

※Extra charge for sports insurance fee,system using fee

Training schedule

●Regular practice: Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
Preschool class・Beginner class　17:00〜19:00
Intermediate and advanced levels　 19:00〜20:30

●Special training sessions are held from time to time on Sundays
including advanced/tournament training, mock tournaments, joint training with other dojos, theme-specific workshops, private training by appointment, etc.
Closed on all national holidays.
